**Quality Manager**
**Position Summary**
- The Plant Quality Manager has direct responsibility to foster a quality culture across his/her plant to meet or excel all customer requirements while meeting company business targets, this responsibility includes maintaining quality production levels to meet customer requirements. Implement program in quality control and compliance. _
**Your Role**
- _Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operations. _
- _Establish and direct Plants Quality Policies & Procedures. _
- _Monitor plants quality on an ongoing basis and provide regular updates to senior leadership. _
- _Work closely with quality personnel to review product consistency while monitoring scrap rates to determine trends and areas of improvement. _
- _Review established production schedules for all manufacturing departments to insure established inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible. _
- _Monitor operation expenses and research ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality. _
- _Encourage and promote operating in a continuous improvement environment. _
- _Develop strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions; recommending objectives. _
- _Accomplish objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections. _
- _Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. _
- _Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. _
**Your Background**
- _10 years of experience in the related field in an automotive harnesses manufacturing environment. _
- _Previous experience/strong understanding of budgeting/expense management with a basic understanding of financial and accounting practices. _
- _Previous experience/best practices implementing and using continuous improvement/lean tools such as; Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc. to drive improvement. _
- _Previous experience/broad understanding of safety systems and enforcement of safety rules and policies. _
- _Demonstrated strong leadership, team building and advanced coaching skills. _
- _Demonstrated ability to motivate people, assess and develop employee skills. _
- _Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to balance production and maintenance needs. _
- _Excellent interpersonal communication and listening ability. _
- _A strong ability to be adaptable and flexible. _
- _Strong analytical and decision-making skills. _
- _Ability to work with teams and lead decision-making processes in a team environment. _
- _Highly motivated, results oriented, driven. _
