We are currently seeking a Database Admin Senior Specialist to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).
- 6-8 years of experience working as SQL Server 2008/2012/Above versions in database administration in an enterprise environment with multiple database servers
- Experience in and responsible for planning, deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting of high-availability database environments (Always-On, Clustering, Mirroring, etc.).
- Experience in and responsible for database performance tuning
- Experience in and responsible for SQL backups, restores and recovery models
- Experience in and responsible for database Back-up/restore, availability, performance tuning, health-checks, etc.
- Experience with database administration
- Automating database tasks for efficiency and cost optimization.
- Process optimization to enhance database delivery and Customer experience
- Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
- Excellent/Good written and verbal communication, problem solving skills
- Strong ITIL foundation, Continual Service Improvement and Total Quality Management experiences
- Must possess excellent written & verbal communications skills, problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, with little or no direct supervision.
- Sound knowledge on ITIL processes
- Availability for 24 x 7 support as needed.
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server

**Nice to Have: (Optional)**
- Experience with scripting.
- Experience in SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL.
- Experience supporting Logical DBA activities.
- Experience complex query tuning and schema refinement.
- MCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications a plus
