**Who are we?**:
A Solutions Consultant Lead is part of the Global Solutions Consulting team (GSCs), and plays a pivotal role at the intersection of sales, technology, and client engagement, acting as a strategic advisor and technical expert throughout the customer lifecycle. The Solutions Consultant Lead is a highly skilled functional and technical domain specialist, often with over 10 to 15 years of experience in financial services, consulting, or enterprise software. Your primary responsibility is to partner with sales teams and the broader ecosystem to understand, identify, and qualify client needs, then design and position tailored solutions that deliver measurable business value. They lead solution discovery workshops, craft compelling demonstrations, and manage the end-to-end engagement process—from initial qualification through to proposal, stakeholder alignment, and contribute with post-sale customer success
**What will you contribute?**
Key responsibilities include owning the solution proposal, ensuring consistency in value messaging, orchestrating internal resources, and maintaining alignment across all stakeholders. The Solutions Consultant Lead often serve as Engagement Manager, coordinating complex sales cycles and facilitating executive-level workshops to align solutions with clients’ digital transformation agendas. You are expected to possess deep product knowledge, up-to-date market expertise, and the ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes. Attributes such as active listening, storytelling, problem-solving, and empathy are essential to position yourself in the client’s mindset to effectively communicate value and build trust.
The Solutions Consulting Lead will have a proven track record in understanding or having performed Front, Middle and Back Office processes (trading financial instruments, understanding position management, risk, sensitivities, trade lifecycle, settlement, clearing, accounting, and other operational aspects) with direct experience having worked in a Financial Institution or Fintech, ideally including one or more of Finastra's core Treasury & Capital Markets Applications (Kondor, Opics, Summit, Risk),
and will have domain knowledge in the Latin American Markets (focusing on Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile and the Spanish-speaking Caribbean).
You will be supporting the Sales organization to prove the value of our solutions to our customers through expert consulting and client-facing engagements. You will develop a reputation for deep product and domain knowledge and become a trusted adviser for clients and sales alike. As a TCM industry SME, you will provide product strategy insights and assist in identifying whitespace in the TCM landscape. In this role, you will support strategic account reviews, Sales Development Reps, Account Executives and Sales Executives with upsells, renewals, new contracts and provide guidance on pricing, along with identifying product growth opportunities. Your thought leadership will also be essential in representing the company at industry events, supporting analyst engagements, and contributing to strategic initiatives that help differentiate our offerings in an increasingly competitive environment.
**Responsibilities & Deliverables**:
Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- **Client facing presentations**:lead client-focused discovery and solutioning, based firmly upon value-led understanding and industry-informed knowledge of our client's needs. Engagements range from discovery to multi day proof of concept workshops
- **Product presentation readiness**:contribute to informative, on-brand white papers, presentation decks, client facing resources, videos and other material that ensures our clients understand why they should choose Finastra
- **Internal knowledge sharing**:you will participate in internal knowledge sharing with your colleagues with online presentations on industry-related topics. This will leverage client presentation skills and remote engagement experience
- **Collaboration**: The Solutions Consulting Lead can expect to coordinate, challenge, influence and otherwise engage Product Management, Global Services, Sales, Partner teams, Solution Lead teams and other key stakeholders in Treasury and Capital Markets. You will develop your professional network within Finastra and its Partners, provide product strategy insights and assist in identifying whitespace in the Treasury and Capital Markets space
- **Integration**:Integration is extremely important and you will be responsible for learning the integration between the Finastra Treasury and Capital Markets platforms and third party core processes, be able to explain how the integration works and support the Proposal team with answering RFP questions
