We have successfully managed a wide range of projects with contract values of over $1.8 billion dollars._** We are looking for a creative and inspired architect to handle projects from the initial client briefing through to the final stages of construction. The architect's responsibilities include managing client relationships, developing and presenting design proposals, preparing drawings, specifications, budgets, construction documents, and managing project teams. You will take ownership of your project, be it the design and construction of a new building, an extension, alterations or a restoration project, and deliver on the client's requirements. **To be successful in this position you should be able to visualize space in three dimensions, have a good understanding of construction technologies, and be an effective project manager. **An outstanding Architect will have strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate superior technical design skills and be able to create designs that are functional, creative, and sustainable. - Design and drawing production for a range of residential and commercial project types - Produce high quality construction documents - Coordinating the needs of the client, support staff, and outside consultants such as structural, civil, and mechanical engineers, as well as interior designers and landscape architects. - Perform Construction Administration duties as needed - Collaborate with architectural and administrative team members within the office - Ensuring compliance of construction detail documentation to quality control and best practices. - Maintaining client communications and relationships. - Performing project research. - Contacting municipal building department and government agency officials to assist with project approvals. - Interacting with building officials during project permitting and construction phases. - Attending field reviews, on-site meetings, and project meeting - Provide services in new development design, alteration and repair of real property, consult with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements and prepare information regarding design specifications, materials, estimate cost and project scheduling. - Generate and manage production of drawings, sketches, and renderings. - Experience with integrating engineering elements into a unified design. - Professional Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture required. - Professional license. - Minimum of 5 years experience providing and managing deliverables of architectural services. - Working knowledge of Florida building codes and design standards. - Must be highly proficient in AutoCad Design Suite programs (incl. AutoCad Architecture & Revit), Microsoft Excel & Word, Microsoft Project for project scheduling. - Must have strong project management skills, presentation and communication skills.
