**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop complex 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks with speed and precision.
- Implement redline revisions and rapid design changes while maintaining accuracy.
- Manage SolidWorks PDM and maintain BOM structures.
- Experience with PDM Manage is a plus.
- Modify CATIA V5 drawings as needed (a plus).
- Ensure designs comply with ASME Y14.5 standards for GD&T.
- Follow ISO 9001 and IATF/TS16949 quality processes.
- Work with electro-mechanical assemblies, plastic components, and metal parts for automotive and high-volume production.
- Design for high-volume production, ensuring manufacturability, cost efficiency, and scalability.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize designs for large-scale production.
- Ensure error-free execution under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Bilingual in English & Spanish (written & verbal)
- 10+ years of experience as a CAD Drafter / Designer in automotive and high-volume production industries.
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks, with the ability to work very fast while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong knowledge of ASME Y14.5 and GD&T principles.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (UL, CE, NEC, IP ratings) and compliance testing
- Experience with SolidWorks PDM and BOM structures.
- Familiarity with PDM Manage (preferred).
- Ability to modify CATIA V5 drawings (preferred).
- Extensive experience with plastic design and injection molding.
- Experience with metal part design and their integration into high-volume products.
- Proven ability to design for high-volume production and ensure manufacturability.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with reviewing FEA simulation results a plus.
- Proficient in English for technical documentation and workplace communication.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working in automotive, electro-mechanical product development, and high-volume design.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
