**About the Role**:
We are seeking an outstanding Behavioral and Data Sciences Director to join our virtual global team. The Behavioral and Data Sciences Director plays a pivotal role within our professional services firm, leading the integration of behavioral insights and advanced data analytics to drive strategic decision-making, creation of innovative solutions and enhance client outcomes. This position combines expertise in psychology, behavioral economics, data science, and business acumen to unlock valuable insights that guide our clients towards optimized solutions and improved performance.

You will lead the Behavioral and Data Sciences group in setting the strategic direction for all research-related activities across the organization. Operating cross-functionally in collaboration with other Team Leads and Partners ensuring that science, research, and data is well represented across the business. This includes owning the lifecycle of assessment product development and deployment for clients, providing insights and input for marketing activities and general thought leadership, supporting in the design and delivery of client solutions/programming, and helping in the execution of internal People campaigns.

We are looking for someone who are able to commit 30-35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and can work in US and EU time zones, ideally US Eastern Time. A dedicated contemplative practice is an important requirement to fit our organizational culture. We walk our own talk.

**You will focus on**:
Setting the strategic direction for science and research across the organization
- Establishing a road map for leveraging behavioral insights and data analytics across client engagements.
- Advising solutions and design teams on how to create effective interventions that produce lasting, sustainable behavior and mindset change for clients
- Representing science and research in senior stakeholder and Partner groups
- Owning and driving data collection and analytics on topics related to leadership development and organizational effectiveness
- Innovating the development and build of leadership assessment products
- Serving as a trusted scientist partner to help instill confidence in clients
- Mentoring and developing team members and colleagues to grow as leadership scientists and practitioners

**You will bring**:

- 5+ years in professional services, with proven expertise in at least 2 of the following domains: Behavioral Science, Data Science, People Science, Leadership Development, Design Thinking / Learning Design / Program Design, or Strategy Consulting
- 5+ years leading and mentoring small to mid-size teams
- Extensive personal meditation practice in excess of 5 years
- Previous leadership experience demonstrating the ability to inspire and lead cross organizational teams.
- PhD in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Organizational Science, Management, or related field
- Self-starter with an exceptional sense of ownership, ability to work in scale-up organization and to thrive in high-pressure client situations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual team environment and to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
