We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of our enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into interactive and visually compelling Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets while ensuring best practices in data modeling, governance, and performance tuning.

Kyndryl is a global, largely remote company, where you join a group of 40 People and Workforce Analytics professionals. We are fast, flat, and focused: you will engage with senior leadership, a diverse group of HR professionals, fellow data scientists and analysts as well as business leaders to ensure our insights are both scientifically rigorous and aligned with our business goals. Your work will directly influence our enterprise strategy and operations, impacting tens of thousands of employees.

**As the Senior Lead, Power BI developer, you’ll be specifically responsible for**:
**Development & Delivery**
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and datasets.
- Build robust data models in Power BI using DAX, Power Query (M), and optimized relationships.
- Create reusable templates and standardized visuals to maintain consistency across reports.
- Implement row-level security (RLS) and other data access controls to protect sensitive data.

**Data Management & Integration**
- Integrate Power BI with various data sources (SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Data Lake, APIs, etc.).
- Work with data engineers to ensure clean, well-structured, and high-performing datasets.
- Optimize queries and data refresh processes for performance and scalability.

**Governance & Quality Assurance**
- Establish version control and deployment pipelines for BI assets (e.g., using Azure DevOps).
- Maintain proper documentation for reports, datasets, and data flows.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security policies.

Required Technical and Professional Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- English Advanced
- Microsoft Power BI Certification
- 6+ years of experience in BI development, with at least 3 years hands-on in Power BI.
- Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling best practices.
- Solid SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
- Proven track record of leading BI development teams or projects.
- Experience with BI governance, deployment pipelines, and performance optimization

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Experience with Azure Data Platform (Azure SQL DB, Synapse, Data Lake, Data Factory).
- Familiarity with Power BI Embedded or API integrations.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance standards
