Working as an Associate Project Engineer, you will be the responsible for various engineering projects in Electrification Smart Power in Apodaca, providing technical details, costs and deliverables for sales proposals. In this role, you will make technical recommendations in various phases of customer projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Performs basic survey work, standard computations, analysis, and basic design tasks.
- Collects data and supports production of the engineering design.
- Assists customers on technical issues, interacts with official contacts, contractors, and other staff within his/her scope of deliverables.
- Participates in workshops pertaining to engineering design, tools, and processes.
- Reports process and tool inefficiencies, along with suggesting ideas for improvement.
- Collaborates with the Supply Chain function and the Project Manager(s) to meet the contractual obligations.
- Updates the engineering deliverables as built.
**Your background**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Administrator, Administrative Engineer, Industrial Engineer or related field.
- One year of experience in similar positions.
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel) and AutoCAD 2D (Electricad).
- Knowledge in Electrical Diagrams.
- Experience working with SAP, Oracle, SolidWorks, and 3D Design is desirable.
- Intermediate English level.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.
