Job Summary- The Design Release Engineer. wiill be based at Juarez North Responsible for architecting, developing, and implementing hardware aspect of test development process with a focus on product protocols, interfacing with equipment and fixturing, as well as electrical engineering.- Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
- Assist in developing engineering designs and implement engineering changes.- Prepare RED Mark-up to support 2D release for wiring harness.- Coordinate with Application Engineers to communicate engineering changes and 2D print releases.- Interface with systems engineers and 3D designers to develop and validate wire harness designs.- Support harnesses build events and vehicle launches with customer.- Prepare Design Failure Modes Effects Analysis.- Produce and utilize DVPR's for product validation.- Communicate to customer the content and status of the design, design changes, and build requirements.- Generate cost savings ideas and attend VAVE (Value Analysis Value Engineering) workshops.- Support customer warranty reduction activities.Support new business opportunities and RFQs.- The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor degree, Electrical/Mechanical.- Bilingual English - Spanish- Experience, Wiring Automotive preferred as Design Release- Engineer. Stellantis customer processes is a plus.- Microsoft office- 3D CAD knowledge- Proficient communication skills- What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:
