Senior QA Engineer

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior QA Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Mexico. Our client is a leading real estate creation company in western Mexico with over 40 years of experience. They create residential developments based on the extraordinary quality of life, urban generosity, surplus value, and beauty, specializing in seven areas: houses, land, apartments, vacation homes, commercial, industrial, and offices.Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software QA.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Strong experience with manual testing.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of testing APIs and backend systems.
- Experience in developing test strategies, test plans, and test cases
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A good knowledge of test management software, programming languages, and QA methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with developers to understand product requirements and develop test plans.
- Create concise, comprehensive test plans, test cases, and other QA documentation.
- Develop and execute automated and manual tests.
- Work with development teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Use testing tools and techniques to ensure software quality and adherence to best practices. Work in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, standups, and other ceremonies.
- Continuous.ly evaluate and improve the testing process and methodologies.
- Assess the quality health of a project to determine whether or not the project is ready for release.
