**About us**:
Wiser Solutions is a suite of in-store and eCommerce intelligence and execution tools. We're on a mission to enable brands, retailers, and retail channel partners to gather intelligence and automate actions to optimize pricing, marketing, and operations initiatives, both in-store and online. Our Commerce Execution Suite is available globally.
**Essential Functions**:
A Senior Engineer at Wiser Solutions is expected to steward large initiatives, drive technical designs, and collaborate with other teams to drive improvements. Senior Engineers also work with Product on Discovery, Analysis, Forecasting and Prioritization of the product backlog.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- BS in Computer Science or related technical field
- 5-7+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience with and understanding of product-driven engineering and agile delivery
- Strong coding background in multiple languages
- Expertise with Kotlin and Java using the Android SDK
- Knowledge of SOLID principles of OOP
- Experience with unit and functional testing patterns and techniques within the Android ecosystem- Familiar with Linux, cloud computing (AWS, etc.) and containerization
- Good system design skills, with a focus on testability and adaptability
- Solid understanding of core computer science fundamentals
- Proven ability to learn quickly, make pragmatic decisions, and adapt to changing business needs
- Track record of lifting and challenging teammates to higher levels of achievement
- IOS experience a plus
