Responsible for execution of Global Supply Management (GSM) strategies to manage sourcing of quality products, equipment and services. **Day to Day Responsibilities**: - Champions and ensures compliance with the Global Buying Policy (GBP) along with utilization of standard Global Supply Management (GSM) source-to-pay (S2P) processes and tools - Develops playbook for OCS material consignment and vendor management programs with suppliers including coordinating with suppliers to view on site locations, facilitating with SC Managers at plant to set required stocking levels with suppliers, track performance of Consignment/VMI suppliers, and develop continuous improvement initiatives to drive program. - Conduct analysis to drive supplier catalog solutions within SAP and other Buying solutions as designated by GSM Promotes and proliferates appropriate utilization of buying channels and procurement tools (p-cards; e-catalogs, requisitions, and purchase orders, etc.) - Creates and maintains contractual documents in ARIBA system (Supply Agreements/SOWs, Pricing Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Certificates of Insurance (COI), etc.) - Works closely with requisitioners, suppliers, receiving, and Corning Shared Services (CSS) to resolve invoice issues and identify root cause and corrective action - Responsible for all Vendor Add/Change/Maintenance requirements Protects Intellectual Property (IP) and proprietary information - Conducts data analysis, metrics reporting, purchasing information - Supports category management with key strategies/initiatives **Travel Requirements: < 20%, Domestic and International** **Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: 40+ Hours per week** **Required Education: Bachelor's degree (Finance, Supply Chain, Business Admin)** **Required Years and Area of Experience: 5+ Years** - Extensive SAP experience - Highly experienced in Microsoft Office Excel - Ability to collect and analyze data resulting in recommendations for key projects - Project management - Effective communicator both oral and written - Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize to complete day-to-day responsibilities - Knowledge of procurement practices and processes - Thrives within both autonomous and team working atmospheres - Champions change and embraces flexibility - Demonstrates drive and commitment through the organization - Green Belt Certification and/or Project management experience’ - Negotiations **Soft Skills (Communication/Team/Leadership)** - Acts with integrity and authenticity - Results oriented, self-motivated with positive can-do attitude and strong work ethic - Effective team player - Strong Customer Focus - Able to interact with others in a team environment and across all functions. - Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization - Demonstrated Drive and Commitment - Solid organizational and time management skills - Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills - Confident and Adaptable - Values Diversity in People and Ideas Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Por tiempo indeterminado Salario: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 al mes Horario: - Diurno
