CIE Process Expert: - Develop concepts for Hardware for SMT-TL-BE machines for new ECU part numbers or new EBS Products or Processes. - Define the technical specification required by our Product/Processes - Provide Feedback to suppliers regarding manufacturability and Machines design - To Define appropriate training needs for the plants of influence regarding the equipment/processes in his responsibility - To assure the process specification regarding product characteristics are fulfilled in the pre-acceptnace procedures. - Support the preparation of FMEA and Control Plans. - Support Quality Area for solving problems related with Customers rejects. - Expertice in Quality procedures for Release/Maintain/Optimize equipment/processes in his responsability - Participation in the problem solving methodology, as well as in the definition and implementation of corrective and preventive actions applicable to their activities. - Early escalation of quality related problems during the equipment serial production - Participate actively in Local and external Teams as required and applicable. - Use Quality toolbox for Process quality improvement focus on productivity and product/process quality. - To support internal and external Audits, and the MSA Studies requested by the quality manual. To control the Budget assigned for the Processes under responsibility - Support APQP in activities required for customer approval world wide as required and applicable - Support for the execution of Validation Tests in ECUs (PV, PPAPS, PA, etc.) world wide as required and applicable - Define and supervise project timing, where key activities, dates of deliverables, milestones with client, etc., must be included. - Coordinate in conjunction with local Plant IE "Kick-Off" of the project, where it will be communicated / reviewed with the launch team: timings and dates of deliverables of the project, initial concepts of product and process and any other additional information relevant to the project. project (logistics concept, customer requirements, volume, etc.) - Involve Plants feedback in the definition phase of equiment specifications. - Support Series production in the continuos improvement process as needed according to the problem to be solved - Participate actively in Competence Networks as required and applicable. - Support ECU Plants ww on specific processes related topics - Develop local equipment suppliers in the Region America Responsibility: - To ensure that equipment suppliers fufill Continental ESH/ESD requirements in Preacceptances and Final acceptances of equipment - To Support ECU Plants in ESH/ESD procedures where they have influence. - To assure the equipment performance regarding product characteristics are fulfilled - To assure the Cycle Time targets in serial production based on LMS - To assure the OEE target defined by the LMS - To assure the Production target [ ECU's/Hr ] defined by the LMS
