As an OPTIMA SOLUTIONS SITE MANAGER, you will coordinate and run customer service and support activities supporting sales and marketing strategies to maintain and grow PPG's share of the local market. Supervises the accurate use of human, technical, material, and economic resources to achieve the key business objectives, always conducting themselves with the values of the PPG Way
**Key Responsibilities**
- Own the budget of expenses and implement cost reduction programs ensuring the profitability of the plant
- Facilitate action plans of the technical service team in the control and improvement of systems
- Maintain good relations with the client at all levels by designing and supporting their annual business plans aligned with the PPG´s and customer´s plan.
- Lead the process of continuous improvement, challenging the different processes and systems in coordination with the technical team in charge.
- Run the training and development of the personnel in charge, ensuring that all ethics, security, and policy guidelines are met for both PPG and the client.
- Coordinate billing, inventory management, supply chain activities and improve contract profitability
- Some of the important metrics are 1) People (safety, ethics, engagement), 2) Capability building (ONE PPG product implementation, trainings, dashboards follow-up), 3) Operational Excellence (Forecast 85%, zero obsolete products, avoid material returns and customer charges) and 4) Customer & Stakeholders (create customer value, increase OS pipeline and ONE PPG sales)
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor´s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related
- +5 years of experience as Site Manager or Site Supervisor experienced in leading people, chemical processes, basic finance, and quality systems. Desirable to have knowledge of statistical control of the process and methodology to solve problems with statistical tools.
- English at advance level for communication with USA customers and partners
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Word)
- Skills: Results oriented, people engagement, flexibility, adaptation, communication, and agility.
