Reporting to the Plant Manager, you as a EHS Manager in the Muzquiz, Coahuila plant will be responsible to maintain environmental, health, and safety standards. Manages processes and programs to mitigate risk and ensure that associates are working in a safe environment. Manages work activities, monitors status of projects, and serves as an escalation point for questions. Accountable for compliance with local governmental regulations and requirements.
About the job:
- Leads a small team that implements and focuses on areas such as environmental health, safety, ergonomics, accident prevention, analytic review, policies and procedures to ensure employee safety and health.- Coaches and manages the work activities and may have full management accountability for the performance and development of team.- Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet objectives.- Ensures compliance with governmental regulations for the environment, safety and health.- Other duties as assigned.
About you:
- Bachelor or university degree- 3 to 10 years of experience- Management experience- Experience with global manufacturing companies preferred- Advanced knowledge in MS Office- Strong analytical skills- Strong communication skills- High attention to detail- Available to locate at Muzquiz, Coahuila with travel flexibility to be discuss.
