Gomez Vazquez International is looking for an Operation/Quality manager

If you have expertise overseeing an organizing operation, ensuring that all company services meet quality standards.

If you can ensure consistent quality of processes by analyzing quality data regularly.

If you know how train, and evaluate staff as well as manage the log of quality reports.

You got the what it takes As a GVI Operation/ Quality Manager you will collaborate in the best multicultural team.

This position interacts on a regular basis with both internal and external individuals at many levels within the organization, with professional and direct labor levels.

You will be responsible for developing and establishing the best practice processes for the day-to-day operations, with a strong focus on mentoring, coaching, and training, as well as metrics.

What You’ll Do In This Role
- Supervise production staff on work, their methods and quality checkpoints.
- Report to upper management in weekly operations reviews.
- Coach and mentor management leaders within the company.
- Provide leadership in employee management by: setting goals, developing staff, managing employee’s performances, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as they are required.
- Lead and supervise operations and the diverse activities that have a direct impact within the organization by leading teams to complete their task while guaranteeing the quality of them
- Requires strong process management knowledge and understanding of the business and operational function of the supported areas
- Plan, and coordinate the activities for your own department and solves operational issues.
- Be a strategic Leader


JOB REQUIREMENTS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Industrial Engineering.
- At least 6 years of proven experience in management consulting, organizational design, corporate strategy, or Operation Management.
- Strong leadership skills
- Fully proficient in reading and writing in English and Spanish
- Lean manufacturing
- Preferred qualification in Six Sigma method, Total quality Manager (TQM), KAIZEN method, BPM.
