Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated **Senior Data Engineer**to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will focus on designing and building scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Apache Beam (Dataflow), while ensuring the reliability and efficiency of data workflows. **Responsibilities**
- Design and implement robust and scalable data pipelines using Apache Beam on Google Cloud Dataflow
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to gather data requirements and deliver tailored solutions
- Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency on GCP services
- Participate in code reviews, write clean and maintainable code, and adhere to engineering best practices
- (If applicable) Utilize Apache Airflow to orchestrate and manage data workflows
- Contribute to architectural decisions and drive continuous improvements in data engineering processes

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
- Proficiency in Apache Beam and its implementation through Google Cloud Dataflow
- Advanced programming skills in Java
- Solid understanding of distributed data processing, including streaming and batch paradigms
- Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
- Fluent English communication skills, written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher

**Nice to have**
- Familiarity with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and management
- Experience with Python for data manipulation and scripting
- Previous experience working in Agile environments and contributing to Agile teams
