**Responsibilities**:

- Architect, code and manage software (Python)
- Continuously test your software to fail-fast and fail-forward to ensure the best user experience.
- Define, set and enforce standards for best practices in software development.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers and introduce the team to new technology trends in the industry.
- Or as an entry level work hard to learn from your mentors
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a geo-distributed team.
- Take pride in owning what you build, support it in production and continuously monitor and evolve it to improve performance, scalability and ease-of-use.

**Minimum qualifications**:

- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of Python development experience
- Experience working on microservices architecture, writing well-maintainable RESTful web services, and proficient understanding of git-based code versioning tools
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and the ability to carefully consider and articulate the trade-offs in your design choices
- Excellent communication skills and a team player that takes pride is one’s work, but also understands what it means to work collaboratively

**Preferred qualifications**:

- MS in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or Data Science
- Experience in MLOps

**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
