**Job description**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned cases
- Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, health care entities to gather information, provide updates, and coordinate patient care
- Ensure all necessary documentation and paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist in coordinating patient care and follow-up appointments.
- Provide support and guidance to patients and their families throughout the case management process
- Utilize case management software to track and document case progress.
- Gathering medical reports
- Getting insurance information from the defendant
- Assisting in preparing settlement demands
- Determining the extent of damage covered by the insurance policy, along with other basic litigation duties

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Medicine or any related field
- With 5 years of Case Management experience specifically in Personal Injury cases
- Should have good command of the English and Spanish Language
- With experience in customer service
- Previous experience working in the legal field, especially in medical law or healthcare law, is a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and relevant legal regulations.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to critically evaluate medical records and complex medical information.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and client interaction.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
- Ability to manage a high caseload while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Experience assisting doctors and patients in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
