Albéa is a global leader in beauty, personal care, oral care, pharmaceutical and food packaging. Our site, Albéa Matamoros is North America’s Center of Excellence for Mascara, Lip Gloss and Lipstick Packaging.
**Scope**
- CI saving: Coordinate site projects to reach the annual CI Saving Budget
- Engage in the deployment and coaching of CI tools
- Reports to the CI Manager of Matamoros
- Plant: Sites 1 and 2
**Main activities**
- Ensure compliance with the annual savings goal.
- Ensure the site's CI Operating Agenda including projects are timely followed
- Identifying CI opportunities and guiding others to identify as well
- Coach project team leaders in project definition, and project completion
- Monitoring implementation progress of CI initiatives
- Actively participate in the monthly Cohesive Group meetings
- Training and coaching on CI tools and techniques
- Engage and lead special projects aimed to improve the site efficiency
- Coach and lead implementation of CI Tools driven by the Central team
- Use tools for the mapping and characterization of processes that allow obtaining key indicators for the fulfillment of strategic objectives
- Review projects of Cohesivo members
**Accountability including KPIs**
- Guarantee site KPIs are met including spoilage and efficiency
- Guarantee that the plant's CI saving goals are met
- Guarantee that the CI Operating Agenda, Plant improvement plan and CI Savings dashboard are in place and proactively managed on a month to month basis
- Guarantee CI culture is deployed and embedded at the site
- Guarantee that all Cohesive Team members complete quota of projects per year, adhering effectively to the LSS model
- Comply with the internal work regulations and internal rules of the plant
- Live at all times the values of: Responsibility, focus on goals, execution of priorities, direction towards results, listening and effective communication, collaboration, decision making, inspiration for renewal and living a balanced life
**Profile (Experience & qualifications)**
Experience and education
- BS in Engineering (preferably Industrial, Manufacturing, Process, etc.).
- Hands on experience implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies in a manufacturing environment - 1-5 years’ experience.
- Implementation of LSS methodologies.
- English 90%.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification (Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt), a plus.
- Experience in Quality Management Systems, a plus
**_ Knowledge/Technical Skills required_**
- Technical knowledge of plastic injection molding, automated assembly, hi speed/hi volume, metallization, decoration technologies.
- Excellent Communication.
- Practical knowledge of financial analysis a plus.
