Capgemini Engineering is looking for a seasoned** AWS Platform Engineer** to lead cloud infrastructure initiatives for a high-impact life sciences project. If you're passionate about automation, security, and building scalable solutions in AWS, we want to hear from you.

**YOUR ROLE**:

- Architect and deploy secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using EC2, RDS, Kafka, Cognito, Lambda, and Secrets Manager.
- Automate infrastructure with Terraform and develop Python tooling for cloud operations.
- Drive CI/CD workflows via GitHub and agile delivery using Jira and Confluence.
- Collaborate across engineering and DevOps teams to solve complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions.

**YOU PROFILE**:

- 5+ years in cloud or platform engineering with a strong AWS focus.
- Proven expertise in EC2, RDS, Kafka, Cognito, Lambda, and Secrets Manager.
- Advanced skills in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Solid Python programming for automation and scripting.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control and CI/CD integration.
- Practical knowledge of Jira for agile tracking and Confluence for documentation.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
