Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Equipment Maintenance Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus._
- Reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Manager, this role involves_ _being responsible for repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as conveyor systems and production machines and equipment._

What a typical day looks like:

- _ Manage equipment for the installation of new projects._
- _ Asset management and equipment life cycle monitoring._
- _ Participate in the implementation of cross-functional teams (CFT) for new technologies and developments._
- _ Manage rigging service and execution according to timeline for equipment installation._
- _ Accountable for suppliers working on site for their equipment set up and cell fit
- out._
- _ Follow up on the project until site buy off including SSYMA, process engineering and operations acceptance._
- _ Assists process technicians and engineers with the installation and removal of process equipment._
- _ Researches and implements corrective action reports and process tracking mechanisms._
- _ Records times and problems in equipment logs._
- _ Provides daily equipment functioning activity information._
- _ Disassembles instruments and equipment and inspects components for defects._
- _ May require travel to other Flex sites or vendor locations._
- _ Highest level may perform both software and hardware maintenance._

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- _BA/BS degree_
- _Intermediate English level._
- _Experience in similar position in plastic molding and assembly process._
- _Experience in allocating work to a team of fitters._
- _Experience in:_
- _Fitting new parts._
- _Checking and calibrating instruments to make sure they are accurate._
- _Acknowledge of equipment breakdowns._
- _Fixing faults on site or arranging for replacement machinery or equipment to be installed._
- _Keeping production managers informed of progress._
- _Organizing teams or unipersonal to make sure that 24-hour cover is available._
- _Working on mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic or computerized systems._
- _PLC Knowledge_
- _Robot programming: SEPRO, Witmann._
- _Flexible working hours availability is required._
