You are a professional Data Engineer who participates in the complete development life cycle of the product. Together with out DevOps, Frontend Engineers, and Data Scientists, you are creating the ValueChainOS Product and take pride in doing so. As a Data Engineer, you have knowledge of software architecture, databases, GraphQL APIs, Phyton, and basic algorithms.

The job includes:

- Design, develop, and test data processing pipelines
- Designed scalable database schemas for multiple implementations
- Abstract implementation-related problems to develop general solutions.
- Continuous computational improvement of the developed systems
- Be able to work with Data Scientist and Data Analyst across multiple teams to identify the client’s needs

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design cohesisent APIs between services for data monitoring and manipulation.
- Develop existent and new python packages for internal tooling
- Improve existing logging, testing, and CI/CD pipelines
- Assisting in the collection and documentation of user’s requirements, development of user stories, and estimates.
- Elaborate research regarding the development you are creating and record said investigations in a formal fashion.
- Support the development or the user’s manual for developed systems
- Can execute functionality test for work developed.
- Can work with little or no supervision.
- Responsible and Results oriented: makes sure things get done, even if it means asking for help.
- Grow in abilities and learn from different areas of the companies to find what they like best.

**Requirements**:
BACKGROUND
- Studies/Hands-on experience in Backend development
- +3 years of proven work experience in software development
- Programming experience in Python 3
- Robust documentation and writing skills
- Bonus: Programming experience with docker and K8
- Bonus: Familiar with algorithms packages in Python (OR-tools, Tensorflow, etc.)
