We are looking for an Accounting Sr. Manager who will be responsible for managing, executing and overseeing global Goods Received Not Invoice (GRNI) accounting activities. You will deliver key Controllership objectives while supporting the Mission & Vision of Carrier Corporation Finance.

**About this role**:
This is an excellent opportunity to evaluate, analyze and manage the accounting around GRNI to ensure they are in alignment with US GAAP and Corporate policies with a focus on financial reporting and internal control activities. In addition, this role will engage with key internal and external business partners and others on critical projects and processes to streamline and manage GRNI activities. Oversee GRNI activities and processes ensuring results and reporting are in alignment with external corporate reporting requirements. This role will own critical accounting activities and processes for GRNI. Reports to the hub leadership, Center of Excellence-Record to Report.

This role will manage and transform global GRNI functions, streamline processes while ensuring uniform controls. This role engages on critical GRNI accounting activities, partners with Carrier COE members to transform the delivery of accurate financial results with a strong focus on internal control environment. This role is a critical support for the transformation of the RTR COE.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and report on the aging of open GRNI items within the system.
- Partner with procurement (buyers), receiving (warehouses), and accounts payable (PTP) departments to facilitate communications and streamline the clearing processes.
- Owns the transformation of the GRNI accounting and controls processes for Carrier GRNI activities
- Partners with the business to ensure that vendors are paid promptly, particularly in cases where inventory discrepancies are involved (PI inventory write-ons / write-offs may exist along with moving average price (MAP) errors).
- Manage and oversee regular monthly and quarterly assessments to evaluate and address GRNI transactions that are unlikely to clear and require further research and analysis.
- Own and deliver on GRNI activities to streamline and deliver best practices
- Ability to communicate and influence key internal and external business partners

**Basic Qualifications**:
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, finance or related field

A minimum of 9+ years prior relevant experience, including prior management level experience

Good communication skills both written and verbal

Fluent in English

**Preferred Qualifications**:
An advanced degree is preferred in an Accounting discipline or MBA

Certified Public Accountant or equivalent preferred or the ability and eligibility to obtain certification
