The Plant Support Calibration Engineer is Responsible for:

- Perform powertrain calibration EOL testing and assist in troubleshooting and issues reporting for resolution.
- Support problem solving activities by analyzing EOL data with INCA, Vector CAN tools, or plant tester diagnostic tools.
- Aid in change control and establishment of clean points at the assembly line.
- Establish and document new requirements, best practices, and lessons learned as appropriate.
- Provide regular overview summaries and detailed reports on specific assignments, including timing projections.
- **In site position, not remote.**

**Requirements**:
**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent from an ABET accredited university
- 1 Year or more experience in Powertrain systems calibration development.
- Knowledge in vehicle manufacturing process at assembly line.
- Knowledge of internal combustion engines
- Understanding of CARB diagnostic regulations
- Working knowledge of calibration tools (INCA /ATI), emissions regulations, and powertrain technologies.
- Fundamental knowledge in MatLab / Simulink
- Utilizing a multi-functional tool chain, requiring familiarity with; Stellantis in-house developed calibration tools - I-Box, DC Plot & HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testers
- Industry standard calibration tools (ETAS INCA, MatLab, CANalyzer)
- Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
- Good teamwork skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations to upper management

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Master of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Master of Science in Computer Science from an ABET accredited university
- 3+ years of experience in engine development, powertrain systems development /engine calibration /control systems development / diagnostics within the automotive industry
- Calibration process knowledge using design of experiments and advanced optimization techniques
- Knowledge/Understanding of CAN Communication protocols
