**This position reports to**:
Procurement Manager

**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in San Luis Potosi. You will be mainly accountable for: - Generate quotations of materials. - Assignation of vendors. - Material Parameters review in the system such as (delivery time, minimum purchase). - Creation of contracts in ERP System

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Bachelors Degree - Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or similar
- New graduate - 2 yrs experience as buyer or in Supply Chain area
- Drawing interpretation
- Advanced English
- Electrical diagram interpretation and experience purchasing in electric industry (desirable)
- SAP or similar ERP experience (desirable)
