Director of Supply Chain - Strategic Planning Focus

About the Role
As the Director of Supply Chain, you will lead Watlow’s supply chain operations, driving excellence in strategic planning, purchasing, inventory management, and distribution.
You will shape and execute strategies that enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency across our end-to-end supply chain, ensuring seamless alignment with Watlow’s purpose, vision, and growth goals.

**What you will do**:

- Lead strategic direction and performance of global supply chain operations.
- Drive Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to balance demand, inventory, and production capacity.
- Develop and implement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize value and profitability.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams.
- Coach, mentor, and develop supply chain leaders to enable continuous improvement.

What We’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of leadership experience in supply chain management and lean environments.
- Strong expertise in planning, MRP, pull systems, and flow.
- APICS (CPIM, CSCP, CFPIM) or ISM (CPM, CPSM, CSM) certification preferred.
- Lean Silver Certification or equivalent experience.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
