**Descri **ption**:
As a Manufacturing Engineer you will provide technical support to Caterpillar Remanufacturing facilities by improving the quality of the processes and product result in meeting Caterpillar product specifications and standards for our products. Ensure efficient and cost
- effective quality improvements are executed and implemented, as well as pursues continuous improvement.

**Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to**:

- Ensure introduction of robust high Quality machining processes
- Executes Machining Technology Strategy for Nuevo Laredo
- Coaches and direct local operational teams to drive for efficiency of CNCs and related processes.
- Responsible to create, maintain most effective machining programs and also for continuous improvement.
- Functions as Subject Matter expert with local teams and provides machining solutions on existing processes as well as new processes: diagnosis and support.
- Prioritizes improvement projects and maintains communication with Customers
- Follows established Quality procedures such as Procedure for product implementation and processes changes (PCNs), PPAP procedures, Capital Folder, etc.

**Required Qualifications**:

- BS degree
- 80% English level, written and oral communication
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Quality / Engineering / Manufacturing processes
- Experience on leading improvement projects related to Engineering / Quality
- Knowledgeable and experience with Project Management basics
- Negotiation with Customers and prioritization skills
- Provides effective communication and services in solving production problems or pursuing operations improvements

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of Caterpillar Reman products
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
- Project Management advanced skills
