**What you will do**:
**As a Business Intelligence Analyst within the Johnson Controls Global Products Planning organization, you will **be responsible for **diving deep into large, fragmented, **and complex **data sets **that span **our **entire supply chain. **This position will require a creative problem solver **who **isn’t **afraid to get down into the details and build out digital solutions to unlock productivity within our business. **You will **be responsible for **building tools to **consolidate **, **analy **ze, and **drive strategic decision making **across our supply chain **. **The **Senior **Business Intelligence Analyst will **be responsible for **working with many different stakeholders **to understand the problem, **identify **the solution, and execute on bringing the solution to life.**:
**How you will do it**:

- **Own your projects by creating project plans, **tracking progress **, and communicating **project **updates **to stakeholders and senior leadership.**:

- **Build, develop and **maintain **data models, **automated reports, and **dashboards **that align to **strategic **performance metrics.**:

- **Design and develop **digital **solutions that drive insights into major supply chain metrics such as, On-time Delivery, **Open **/Shipped **Revenue, **Cost **per **M **ile/ **L **b **, **Inventory Health, **Carrier Compliance, **Savings **Variance **.**:

- **Communicate with technical teams to **identify **data tables and schemas needed for analysis. Strong understanding of ERP **s **, MRP **s **, **and Planning databases **will be needed to **determine **how to **prep and **blend data from different systems.**:

- **I **dentify **and solve process gaps that contribute to poor data quality or long lead times to update our systems.**:

- **Identify **and drive process improvement opportunities with digital solutions to increase operational efficiency.**:

- **Utilize **business intelligence tools to communicate findings and **solutions **to **the problems you are trying to solve.**:

- **Participate in ad-hoc projects as needed**:
**What we look for**
**Required**:

- **Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain **, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.**:

- **5 **+ years of experience in **Supply Chain **Planning **, Operations **, **or **Logistics**:

- **Strong understanding of BI tools such as Alteryx **and **Power **BI**:

- **Experience in creating complex SQL queries to prep and blend data**:

- **Experience connecting directly to multiple databases to extract, prep, and blend large datasets**:

- **Proven ability to critically think **and creatively **problem **solve**:

- **Exceptional Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills**:

- **Experience using **the Microsoft **Apps such as **Sharepoint **, Power Automate, Power Apps, Lists, etc.**:

- **Ability to influence and obtain buy-in from stakeholders when implementing a new process or change to an existing process**:

- **Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.**:

- **Travel up to 10% **.**:
**Preferred**:

- **Experience working in Data Analytics **, Business Intelligence, **or Data Science **teams**:

- **Knowledge of R, Python, DAX, **JavaScript, or related programming language **s**:

- **Experience with predictive analytics or artificial intelligence**:
