Quality Technician

- Workplace: Onsite Position- Location: San Luis Potosí, MX, 78395- Contract Type: Full-Time- Working Hours: 48- Employment Type: Regular**Grundfos Mexico** is seeking a **Quality Technician** **to join its Quality MS/MMS team. The Quality Technician´s** **main** **responsibility is** **to ensure continuous compliance with specifications, process and customer requirements.

Continuously monitor the quality level of the process and implement the necessary activities to ensure continuous process improvement.

Monitor and improve the quality level of the product shipped to the customer, and ensure the implementation of effective actions to resolve and eliminate customer complaints, and is based in **San Luis Potosí**, S.L.P. This position reports directly to a **Quality Supervisor** and operates on a daily basis **in the offices** located in San Luis Potosí.

**What is the Job About?**
- Establish the necessary in-process controls to ensure ongoing compliance of customer and process specifications and requirements.
- Definition of measurement and test equipment for new projects.
- Permanent monitoring and reporting of quality indicators for each of the processes.
- Implementation and use of quality tools to ensure continuous improvement of processes and product (QRQC - FTA).
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams focused on improving quality indicators.
- Establish, maintain and standardize visual acceptance criteria and rejection in production areas and with customers.
- Establish corrective and preventive actions when required.
- Ensure proper handling of non-conforming product.

**What do you need to apply?**
- We Imagine that you have_
- Technical Career or Truncated career in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Mechanical-Administrator, Mechanical-Electrician.
- At least 2 years in a similar position in the metal-mechanical industry.
- Statistical tools: control plans, AMEF, DOE, CEP, Process Mapping, 7 Quality tools, 8D's, A3, etc.
- ISO 9001 or ISO/TS:16949 Internal Auditor experience
- Microsoft Office
- Blueprint interpretation
- Handling of basic measuring equipment: Calipers, micrometers, thickness gauges, etc.
- SAP
