Descripción y detalle de las actividades
Ensure supplier performance & Determine material requirements from production schedules and prepare purchase orders to ensure efficient movement of materials. *Review potential shortages and expedite delivery of goods.
- Notify production control of unavoidable shortages including delivery schedule which will close out the shortage condition
- Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine present and future opportunities/threats and prepare and execute action plans.
- Develop suppliers to improve delivery, quality and reduce costs. *Estimate values according to knowledge of market price, value for money.
- Discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
Experiência y requisitos
*Minimum 3 -5 years of experience as Buyer preferably in the Aerospace industry *Problem solving skills. *APICS certification (preferred) *College degree in Business or Engineering *Strong analytical skills ability to take direction and execute with mínimal supervision. *Excellent organization and communication skills.
