Key responsibilities: -Define and oversee effective implementation of the Quality Management System. -Define and maintain the Quality Manuals and Procedures and ensure contents are appropriate for the company. -Perform gap analysis to detect opportunities areas to improve internal and external quality/manufacturing processes. -Define, organize, and manage the plant internal audit system and the corrective action reporting system. -Contribute to continuous improvement activities. -Conduct Quality Systems audits and assist in training/guidance to other auditors and/or inspectors. -Plan standard operating practices required under the overriding Quality procedures. -Define and maintain the Standard Operating Procedure content and coordinate the issuing of these documents. -Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process, or system. -Develop certification and training system for quality and operations. -Collate quality data for monitoring targets. -Assist with training of quality awareness. -Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), and Measurement System Analysis. -Undertake special projects as required. -Write reports and present progress at project meetings and to customers. -Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
Experiência y requisitos
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineer, Administrative Science, or related fields. +5 years of experience in manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, Layered Process Audits (LPA), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and control plans. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015. Lean Manufacturing knowledge. Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Planning and prioritizing activities. Team working skills. Problem-solving skills. Analytical skills. Understanding of cost and financial impacts. Ability to work on own initiative. Preferred Requirements: Leader Auditor (ISO9001:2015). Green Belt Six Sigma is a plus.
