As a key member of our North American leadership team, the Finance Manager role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development. You will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, development of internal control policies and procedures, and communication with external legal counsel as required. Your ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues in person is essential for success in this position. This role may require occasional travel or in-person work for internal or external meetings, providing you with the chance to broaden your professional network and enhance your skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Management**: Oversee treasury, finance, accounting, and compliance functions with robust internal controls to protect corporate assets.
- ** Accounting Operations**: Manage invoicing, A/R, A/P, GL, payroll, cost accounting, fixed asset accounting, and intercompany accounting.
- ** Payroll and Benefits**: Ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance.
- ** Budget and Forecasting**: Participate in budget and financial forecast preparation.
- ** Cash Flow Management**: Monitor transactions and review internal reports.
- ** Financial Reporting**: Validate financial accuracy and prepare timely statements.
- ** Team Leadership**: Mentor finance and accounting staff, ensuring timely book closures.
- ** Regulatory Compliance**: Coordinate reporting and manage annual filings.
- ** Risk Analysis**: Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses.
- ** Internal Controls**: Develop and document accounting policies.
- ** Strategic Partnerships**: Collaborate with executives, maintain relationships with banks
- Communicate with external legal counsel as required
- Participate in 401(k) retirement plan fiduciary oversight
- Collaborate with HR regarding all aspects of payroll and payroll/HR system
- Meet regularly with HR to discuss cross-functional issues and initiatives

Qualifications:
***Knowledge Skills and Abilities**:

- Outstanding business acumen and critical thinking
- Able to consolidate, analyze and communicate financial reports to executive leadership
- Collaborative team leader with a strong drive to create a positive and inspiring work environment
- Creating financial statements in line to IFRS requirements, but in case no such experience—willingness to learn

**Required Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor‘s Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
- CPA or CMA preferred
- 10+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop high-performing teams
- Capacity and willingness to communicate and be a part of cross border team
- Strong compliance focus
- People management and training skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate with senior management
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability for to travel abroad to Europe up to 1-2 times annually
