**The Opportunity**:
We have seen tremendous growth over the years with our Professional Services team that we are now looking to add several Professional Services Engineers to the team. Our team is dedicated to delivering customized solutions for our clients. As a Professional Services Engineer, you will be creating components that extend platform functionality, integrating new features for back-end and front-end workflows, and exploring innovative approaches for web player, web app, and front-end services. Individuals with broadcast experience will be working closely with our Broadcast team in providing solutions for broadcast customers, enhancing platform functionality, and implementing features tailored to broadcasting needs. Together, we strive to deliver exceptional, tailored solutions to meet a diverse range of client requirements.

**As a Professional Services Engineer, you will**:

- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and assist in technical scoping and effort estimation for complex engagements.
- Develop custom integrations of our platform APIs and integrate other 3rd party interfaces, primarily using Python and Go.
- Deliver custom integrations and plugins for the JWP platform.
- Collaborate with our Engineering and Product Management teams to contribute to product development.
- Participate in the entire software development life cycle, from requirement analysis to deployment and maintenance.
- Emphasize repeatability - understand the importance of documentation and structure to support easy reuse of work product and actively promote these principles proactively.
- Proactively manage both Customer and internal environments to maintain availability and service level.
- Identify improvements and efficiencies to reduce manual intervention/administration of environments/tooling.

**Requirements for the role**:

- Proficient in back-end web development with languages such as Python and Go.
- Familiar with RDBMS like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Comfortable writing code that interacts safely with a range of APIs.
- Strong attention to detail when implementing and documenting designs.
- Excellent communication skills, articulating information clearly, concisely, and with a focus on action.
- A keen interest in technology and a drive to stay updated with the latest developments.
- Experienced in public cloud solution design and deployment (e.g., AWS platform, MediaTailor, MediaLive).
- Familiarity with streaming technologies (e.g., Unified Streaming, HLS, and DASH protocols).
