**Job Description**:
Responsible for Supplier Quality, including new vendors validation & approval, and regular performance evaluation & monitoring, assuring the quality of incoming materials.

This role is also responsible for maintaining, and improving the processes required for the Integrated Management System, planning, developing & coordinating the adequate mechanisms and controls under the requirements of the standards ISO 9001 & ISO 14001.

Responsible for safety, quality health and environmental protection, in accordance to Saltillo´s Plant Integral Policy.

Validates new vendors proposals, as per BIC defined protocols for approval, & conducts regular supplier audits, to assure compliance with agreed requirements.

Monitors & reports suppliers’ performance, through materials incoming inspection & process execution in defined regular basis.

Manages supplier non conformances, request & follow up to corrective actions, credit notes.

Responsible for NC inventory control, accuracy & management.

Verifies the compliance with the standards of the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001 & ISO 14001), promoting and developing awareness of team members, contributing to the effectiveness & performance of the IMS.

Leads, supervises and provides regular updates on the progress of the IMS internal & external audits according to defined timing.

It reports on the performance of the system of Integral management and any need for improvement.

Proactively leads & supports development of quality incoming inspectors’ & internal auditors.

**Qualifications**:
Chemical, Industrial or similar Engineering.

**Minimum experience 3 years performing position as**:
Quality & Environmental, Health & Safety Systems Engineer &
Supplier Quality Engineer

ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 lead auditor

Fluent written and spoken English.
