Data & Analytics CoE is a diverse team of technology enthusiast enabling our global business. JCI has embarked on a Data strategy that focuses on establishing strong technology CoE, enterprise data management & cloud based business solutions. Platform Administrator (Visualization / BI) is an integral part of Platform & Operations team. This role will be based out of Monterrey, reporting into Data & Analytics Operations Lead.

**What you will do**
- Troubleshooting and resolution of issues raised by users as Support Level 3 for Power BI & Tableau
- Troubleshooting and resolution of Gateway & Platform issues and performance monitoring
- Administration of licensing, data source, datasets, dataflow, workspaces & reports and capacity monitoring
- Governance on implementation of reporting and visualization standards
- Mentor & guide technical project teams based globally on Azure platform components, Power BI, Azure analytical services & MSBI technologies
- Governance & Audit on Premium workspaces for standards and promoting
- Work with vendors (Microsoft, Tableau, ) on ticket creation and support cases

**How you will do it**
- Work collaboratively with all levels of stakeholders
- Champion the delivery of advanced visualization techniques both within the business and hub execution teams
- Connect with the functional and technical leads when prioritizing the technology initiatives to support analytics & visualization
- Implement access security (row-level, column-level, object-level)
- Building solutions to monitor, trace, log and address any/all concerns in cloud-based data platform operations

**What we look for**
- Bachelor of Science degree and/or Masters in Software Engineering / Computer Science or an equivalent discipline
- **5 - 7 yrs. **of hands-on experience using various development methodologies to deliver robust PaaS and DaaS based analytics solutions using Azure Cloud technologies, Power BI Services, and other OLAP tools**:

- Hands on expertise on Tabular/Multidimensional/Time series modeling, Power BI, and any of QlikView, Tableau, MicroStrategy, SAP BO, MSBI, Snowflake
- Proven expertise of Azure Analysis Service, DAX, and Advanced Cube design techniques
- Strong knowledge of Hadoop, MPP Data platform, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Snowflake

**Technology Requirement**
- Microsoft: Azure Analysis Service, Power BI, Azure HDInsight, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Access and Security Management
- Snowflake is a plus
- 1 or more of MSBI, Tableau, QlikView, MicroStrategy, SAP Business Objects, Looker
- DevOps: GitHub, Azure DevOps
- Visualization design and platform management
- Object Oriented Programing skills using Java, Python, and.Net

- Excellent written and verbal skills to communicate technical solutions to business teams
- Demonstrated experience leading and influencing individuals and teams without formal organizational control
- Understanding trends, new concepts, industry standards and new technologies in Data and Analytics space
- Ability to work with global distributed teams
