Responsible for providing financial support and performance analysis to the global/regional operations and plant management teams. The role requires an exceptional business partner to drive organizational success through the development and execution of financial strategies. Key responsibilities include managing a team of operational financial analysts/plant controllers, consolidation and analysis of actual results/forecasts/budgets, conducting monthly plant reviews, product/conversion/material productivity analysis, driving freight/inventory reductions, and supporting capital investments. The position also requires coordination with the regional/global BU supply chain team.

- Responsibilities:

- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly Excel based reporting in various areas of concentration for plant operations such as: Recovery, Scrap, Quality Holds.
- Develop detailed cost center spending forecast and budget for Queretaro Plant.
- Analyze weekly and monthly variances to forecast.
- Ensure compliance with all internal control procedures and perform testing to validate compliance.
- Participate in Daily Plant Operational meeting and Kaizen events as needed.
- Understand key cost streams and identify and drive cost saving opportunities.
- Assist in the month end close process including the preparation of journal entries and analysis of results.
- Partner with Plant Operations team on strategic initiatives; provide decision support activities on key business cases and projects.
- Provide direct support to the Plant Controller and work closely with Plant Operations, Supply, Materials and Divisional Finance.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Master’s Degree / MBA preferred
- 5 years in a Manufacturing Environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Package, possessing advanced Excel skills
- SAP R/3 or other ERP System knowledge
- Must be proficient in the English language
