**JOB PURPOSE**:
This position collaborates with suppliers to ensure execution to planned orders and schedules, and resolves issues with suppliers to align processes. The incumbent works with the facility production schedulers in support of the development of executable production plans and build schedules. Ensures alignment of MRP planning parameters with the plan for every part to maintain planning integrity.

**JOB DUTIES**:
Incumbent ensures the timely delivery of materials to the facility, collaborating with suppliers to coordinate deliveries, shipping schedules and work schedules to meet facility production plans. Using MRC Connect,. collaborates with suppliers and manufacturing to discuss delivery of material for machine and assembly lines, quality problems and alternate methods of manufacturing.

This position analyzes established parts schedules and production requirements, converting requirements into appropriate piece parts, requisitioning the materials, regulating inventory levels and issuing work orders. Analyzes engineering releases for changes and/or new releases and coordinates effective release dates to provide an efficient depletion of related existing stock items.

Incumbent manages and performs supplier scheduling and implementation of engineering changes for the efficient manufacture of products and components. This position supports supply chain performance efforts by monitoring and tracking supplier performance metrics and the Supplier S&OP Process.

Incumbent performs root cause analysis and corrective action resulting from the use of the point of use availability web-based tracking tool. Supports continuous improvement processes for improved forecast credibility and usability for production planning.

Customers include internal and external suppliers, Master and Production Schedulers, third-party logistics providers, transportation carriers and plant operations supervisors and line employees.

Minimal Travel Required

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Completion of the Cat U Order-to-Delivery, Supply Chain Core and CPS Team Member Training
- Completion of CPS Yellow Belt, Yellow Belt + and Green Belt Training
- CPS Functional Job Role Qualified
- APICS CPIM or CSPC National Certification highly desired
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- College or university degree, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management
- Minimum of one year of supply chain or related field job experience
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organization and communication skills
- Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures
- General product knowledge

**BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum two years of experience
- Technical or Engineering career concluded
- The position requires advanced English
- General knowledge of production scheduling and capacity management
- Ability to use and troubleshoot the MRP, Lognet and MTS systems
- Knowledge and/or experience in material control, purchasing, parts distribution, inventory control, manufacturing operations and transportation or logistics desired
