**Position Summary**:
Ensure that the production objectives are met on time with the required quality, in addition to ensuring the scheduled cost and with the current safety standards, complying with the KPI's of the Manufacturing Units: Safety, Scrap, Efficiency, PPM's and Overtime.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Safety Guidelines Ensure that established safety procedures are followed, including the use of personal protection equipment and protocols against Covid 19
- Ensure that production lines are not operating with unsafe acts or conditions, otherwise manage actions to your correction.
- Ensure the correct performance of the 5s audits and the follow-up of the findings.
- Ensure that environmental controls are followed. Has the authority and responsibility to shut down equipment or lines when safety and quality are at risk.
- Quality Guidelines Comply with HFI's quality procedures, ensuring the correct completion of all records and managing the correction of any discrepancies at the time. When there is a quality problem, join the multidisciplinary team for problem solving. When there is a problem that generates a quality draw, manage the actions and resources to eliminate it.
- Production and Delivery Guidelines Ensure that production orders are closed on time managing the resources in charge to fulfill it.
- Promote and participate in the generation of improvement ideas with the staff in charge in order to promote continuous improvement.
- Cost Guidelines Ensure that SCRAP and Overtime measurables are under control and otherwise manage the resources and actions to do so.
- Ensure compliance with the policies and procedures of HFI Respect the Internal Work Regulations, Respect the safety procedures, Hygiene, and the environment. Work safely.
- Determine the training and training needs for the personnel in charge (production leader and production operators) in addition to coordinating the updating of the skills matrix. Ensure that the hours worked, of each of its collaborators, are reported daily in the Ceridian and in the timecard for the correct calculation of the payroll and the efficiency report.
- Complete performance evaluations of personnel under their charge and the correct completion of the documentation and authorization of the same.
- Adhere to the procedures, regulations and codes of Business Conduct and Ethics. Required relationships Internal External With all areas of the company Customers, Auditors and Suppliers
**Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

**Education**:
- Degree of Studies Bachelor's Degree
- Desired education Postgraduate
- Specialization
- Quality manager
- Experience from 4 to 8 years
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Intermediate English
- Reports to: Quality Manager
- Reporting positions: Quality inspectors
- Others: Occasionally work weekends.
