Working in collaboration with our Agile SAFe development environment, the Product Owner (PO) role sits within the Product organization and represents the customer on the Agile team. It is the Product Owner’s responsibility to ensure the team is focused on the right work and priority and to help the team achieve iteration commitments. The Product Owner will be versed in API technology and represent the needs of the products into the Agile SAFe teams. This position requires extensive collaboration with product managers, other product owners, and other resources across Agile Release Trains to ensure consolidation and prioritization across many initiatives and to ensure the Non-Traditional Air Content (NTAC) Platform strategy and standards (e.g. architecture, design, capability, quality) are incorporated into all Air products. **Responsibilities include**: - Ensure product delivery success by executing on Product Owner best practices in an Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment - Synchronize with the Product Manager/s and other PO’s to ensure new work is brought into the backlog and prioritized appropriately across the ART - Create user stories from higher level Feature requirements by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to align the product design and development activities to deliver ROI - Responsible for User Acceptance Criteria & Sign Off - Develop deep functional product knowledge and understand the technical composition of systems that support it. - Be able to explain "what" and "why" behind any effort - Functional analysis, research and mapping of airline APIs into the Travelport OD Platform **Who we are looking for in this role**: - This Product Owner position requires experience with working in APIs (JSON, XML) - Working knowledge of Agile principles; Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience is a plus - 1 -3 years of Product Owner and/or Business Analyst experience. - Excellent verbal, written and attention to detail skills.
