This position will be based in **Mexico City** and report to the **Head of Risk** of the SFS Business Unit. The intern will collaborate closely with other team members from the SOFOM BU, Credit Analysts, Operations, and Legal Counsel.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the Risk team in gathering, validating, and analyzing financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of risk reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Use **advanced Excel skills** to build and maintain risk tracking tools and dashboards.
- Help monitor compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., CONDUSEF).
- Participate in the review of client documentation and financial structures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely risk assessments.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support ad-hoc projects.
- Maintain organized records and assist in post-analysis documentation.

**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**:

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- **Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel** (pivot tables, formulas, charts, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Availability to work **onsite in Mexico City** on **Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM**.
- Interest in financial risk, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
