These positions will start in July 2025 and will be based in CDMX.

The primary purpose of The Claims Business Analyst is to drive continuous improvement for the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) Claims and Claims Operations leadership by delivering data-driven insights and operational excellence. This role collaborates closely with regional stakeholders to enhance claims performance and business outcomes in alignment with AIG strategic objectives.

**How you will create an impact**
- **Data Analysis and Reporting**: Analyze operational and claims data to identify trends and patterns impacting business strategies. Prepare and present standard or custom reports summarizing claims business and economic data for regional claims leadership, executives, customers, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of insights.

**- Business and Financial Intelligence**: Conduct in-depth business and financial intelligence, including deep-dive analysis of LAC Claims Budgets and projections in English and Spanish. Synthesize insights to recommend operational and financial improvements, collaborating with Claims Analytics, Claims Finance, and LAC Finance teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.

**- Market Research**:Perform market research to support strategic decision-making and operational enhancements.

**- Data Stewardship and Management**:Support the LAC Head of Claims with day-to-day data management and stewardship tasks, ensuring alignment with AIG’s Data Governance Council standards.
- **Business Case Development**:Review and construct business cases for claims initiatives, integrating data-driven insights to support process improvements.

**- Knowledge Asset Management**:Maintain and update document models, dashboards, reports, templates, and other reusable knowledge assets for claims operations.
This role requires strong analytical skills, bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish), and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams to deliver actionable insights and strategic objectives.

**Additional Responsibilities**
- Perform data extract, transformation and load processes using ETL tools.
- Perform ad hoc data queries from LAC source repository.
- Transform data into Intelligence using BI methodologies.
- Complete data validations across systems and country teams.
- Ensure data integrity.
- Improve existing visualizations dashboards (Power BI, Click, Tableau, etc.).
- Consolidate and translate business requirements for IT teams in line with Data Stewardship Governance.
- Increase the usability and effectiveness across Claims reporting and data analysis reporting tools.
- Develop features that drive organic growth to Claims information repository.
