**What you will bring to the team**
As a Software Tester Engineer I for Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, you will play a key role in the evolution of the shopping experiences retailers offer and help shape the future of retail. We provide services to retail clients worldwide by developing and delivering an array of custom software solutions such as POS, self-checkout, and mobility solutions.
What you will be doing: Your typical day as a Toshiba / Manual / Automation Tester will involve:
**Naturally, to be successful in this role, you must have and know of**
- 3 - 4 years of experience in full software development life cycle
- English: Advanced
- Skilled in Software Testing
- Skilled in Programming languages (mainly Java, Python, or any other programming language skill as well)
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux/Android Operating Systems (Linux Mainly)
- Knowledge in Software testing and test automation (Test case creation and execution, test planning / estimation, defect tracking)
- Knowledge of software concepts/methodology/life cycle, especially agile methodology
- Able to learn not common technologies.
- Knowledge of Networking (DHCP, Networking devices Switches and routers, Security protocols like SSH, SFTP, SCP) - Basic Level
