**Job description**

**Revit & AutoCAD Draftsman**

**Architectural Project Management -**
- **General Responsibilities -**:

- Adhere to projects to establish a budget
- Project procedure scheduling and logístical organization
- Management of 5+ simultaneous Residential projects
- Presentational development of proposals, designs, sketches, and technical documentation for the client
- Delegate assignments to office staff, Architects/Draftsman, and supporting design consultants
- **Schematic/Iterative Design -**:

- Guide design team through rapid office design charrettes
- Revit 3D conceptual design - exemplify conceptual designs through hand sketches and diagramming and digital renderings
- **Construction Documents and Details -**:

- Develop and design custom wall assemblies
- Prepare plan sets for building permit delivery
- **California Building Code -**:

- Pre-project planning
- Determine parameters for architectural design through parcel planning and municipal research
- Perform code analysis to establish potential design parameters
- Manage logistics of new submissions & review cycle resubmissions at Planning & Development Services
- Compliance review - every project must undergo a thorough building code compliance check prior to submission

**Prerequisite Requirements -**
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and Professional License
- Architectural Design & Project Management - Minimum 2-3 years of experience with Residential New-Builds, Remodels & Renovations
- Proven strong conceptual design and schematic design skills
- Knowledge of California Building Codes
- Self-motivated and capable of working with minimum supervision
- Ability to multitask and prioritize problem-solving in a timely manner
- Reliable form of transportation

**Required Skills & Proficiencies -**
- Revit - Min 2+ years
- AutoCAD - Min. 3+ years
- Sketchup + Vray

Schedule:

- Monday through Thursday: 8 am to 5:15pm
- Friday: 8am to 1pm

Work Location: In person

Pay: $288.00 - $324.00 per hour
