Contribute to the scale-up acceleration of Urbanization Solutions businesses from an emerging practice towards established regional franchises, supporting analyses and studies of strategic nature (e.g., industry, competitors), evaluation of projects, investment opportunities, and M&A transactions on a global level.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE & MARKET INSIGHTS: analyze new trends and technologies, market conditions, competitors’ strategies and performance, and identify opportunities to grow CEMEX’s Urbanization Solutions business unit; help consolidate knowledge and lessons learnt
- ROADMAPS & BUSINESS PLANS: support market deep dive analyses, work streams of internal Urbanization Solution consulting projects, Business Plans, and other strategic initiatives
- PIPELINE & GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES: support assessment of business development opportunities across geographies and within the Construction Value Chain; assist analysis review (Private-Equity alike)
- M&A: Support M&A processes, assessment of transaction rationale and development of revenue models
- MANAGEMENT PRESENTATION: develop materials for top management, ExCo, Board meetings, and Urbanization Solutions events
- INTERNAL COORDINATION: help develop and disseminate an Urbanization Solutions culture with the support of internal and external ambassadors; act as an advocate when supporting coordination with other areas of CEMEX (e.g., innovation, sustainability)

**Position Challenges**:
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, economics or built environment
- Desirable 1-2 years of experience in Finance, Planning or Innovation
- Problem solving skills: outstanding analytical skills, critical thinking, and ability to deal with complexity
- Interpersonal skills: Team player with strong communication and sensitiveness to customers’ needs
- Personal characteristics: Intellectually curious, resourceful and mature individual with strong sense of responsibility and commitment to excellence. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Language skills: Fluent in English
- Computer skills: Advanced user of Microsoft Office
- Proficient in Power BI

INTERNAL:

- Main interactions are with Regional Urbanization Solutions teams and Corporate Strategic Planning; Other important areas: Regional Planning Teams, Business Planning, CX Ventures, Global Research Group, Sustainability, Investor Relations, Legal

EXTERNAL:

- External consultants and financial advisors; companies within Urbanization Solutions ecosystem (e.g. partners, minority investments)
