**Materials Superintendent**

Manage the materials team (raw, finish good and tool crib) to provide quality, safe and efficient material service. Maximize the performance of the team members through effective planning and communication, encouraging and ensuring all communication and process is delivered in a professional, timely manner to all internal and external suppliers. Supervise all activities and tasks necessary to contribute, support and execute processes that provide timely and effective attention to the needs and requirements of suppliers throughout the manufacturing cycle.

**Responsibilities/ Skills.**
- Safety as a priority and 6s Compliance as a standard work.
- Keeps constant communication with Customer Service, Supply, Production Control, Manufacturing and Maintenance areas
- Ensures timely and accurate delivery of material for internal and external customers. Ensures that requests for service is timely and thorough; does what is necessary to ensure customer satisfaction, prioritize customer needs; follows up to evaluate customer satisfaction
- Ability to manage multiple task and projects; able to determine project urgency; creates action plans; organizes and schedules people and tasks effectively
- Ensures that all direct report(s) co-workers meet his or her deadlines in all activities and organizational requests
- Administrative duties such as attendance, vacation, etc.; Performs other duties and/or responsibilities as requested.
- Manage FIFO levels to avoid excess or lack of raw material.
- Lead and drive a team to meet quality and other performance targets and expectations to contribute to a positive warehouse experience. Develop team members providing guidance on areas of development and empowering ownership of problems through resolution. Carry out performance review (including quality control assessment) of individual team members and a team as one unit.
- Anticipates and prevents problems; effective decision making; works on continuous process improvement; eliminating processes that do not add value and implementing processes which ensure customer satisfaction.
- Follows and ensure the team respects quality system and safety policies
- Motivate and leads the team towards a continuous improvement and Kaizen culture.
- Ensure a smooth and leveled flow of raw material since the arrival of the raw until the point of usage avoiding excess on the workstations and taking care of the respect of raw material.
- Responsible of annual physical inventory as well cycle counts on a daily/weekly basis
- Proper rack administration according with the highest standards on Motherson/IATF to have proper care of raw material

**Profile.**
- Bachelor Degree in International Business, Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent. Apics (Desirable).
- Advanced English skills (fluent)
- 3 year minimum experience in warehouse operations. Automotive a plus
- ERP, WMS System.
- ISO/TS - IATF 16949:2016 experience
