**Responsibilities**:
**The** **Opportunity**

Lead the MBS Data Engineering Team on the Supply Chain Reporting & Analytics team. This person will assisting in setting the overall Data Strategy and own its execution in MBS. The person will also be tasked with finding and implementing new technologies to continue to grow the team’s capabilities. Additionally, the role will be required to do some of the more complex data engineering work as well as assist in some of the statistical modeling projects with the Strategic Initiatives and Productivity Team. Lastly the person will be required to manage and develop a small team of Jr. Data Engineers that will sit in Mexico.

**Your Impact**

As Data Engineer Lead your scope would consist of
- Contribute to and execute Data Strategy for PBNA Supply Chain - Providing Consultation & Execution
- Maintain a governance model for tools and databases - Making Decisions & Execution
- Grow technical talent within the MBS engineering team - Making Decisions & Execution
- Ensure team balances the need for sustainable and transferable reporting with speed to market - Making Decisions
- Partner with the other internal teams to develop sustainable solutions on the backend - Execution
- Ensure PBNA Supply Chain data is delivered timely and provide alerts to potential outages - Execution
- Work with IT team to implement new tools and technologies that enable the team to support business results - Providing Consultation
- Contribute thought leadership as part of the broader R&A Community - Providing Consultation

Qualifications:
**Who Are We Looking For?**
- 2-5 years of Data Engineering experience with an emphasis on supporting business reporting needs
- Demonstrated ability managing a technical team
- Expert in Database Architecture and Management, especially around:

- Query performance tuning
- Usage of store procedures/user defined functions
- Database architecture
- Strong understanding of data governance best practices and experience implementing guardrails for team members and end users
- Strong understanding of data modeling - PowerBI preferred
