Your Opportunity
We’re looking for a Procurement Engineer to join our Indoor Team in our Monterrey MX Plant located in Ciénaga de Florez.
In this role you’ll be responsible for the Procurement and Supply Chain support of New Product Introductions within the assigned segment. We’re on the lookout for forward-thinking innovators with a passion for sustainability. If you match this description, get in touch
What you’ll do- Responsible for ensuring that all Procurement and Supply Chain activities are completed including confirmation of initial and final production site, design for manufacturing, production process control, material availability, and handoff to production facility- Support operational policies and implementation to achieve divisional objectives for procurement of raw materials and finished goods to support a flawless product launch- Support global sourcing and negotiations efforts (vendor selection, qualification, pricing, terms, quality and delivery performance), as part of overall sourcing strategy- Maintain relationships with key suppliers including measuring supplier’s performance and driving improvement plans- Lead global source and sell efforts for finished fixtures or systems within the assigned product segment
What You’ll Need- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in supply chain management, engineering, or general business- 1+ years in a large cross-functional matrix organization with a high number of new product launches each year- Proven track record of successful implementation of annual cost savings through negotiation, supplier VAVE, product redesign and effective supplier development/resourcing efforts- Experience with an ERP system; SAP experience is preferred- Strong negotiations skills
