Supply Chain Manager

**Position Summary**

This position reports to the Site Director and will be directly responsible for overseeing and optimizing all activities related to a supply chain. This includes production planning, new products releases, ERP system master data management, inventory management, logistics and distribution.

This role collaborates closely with the Sales, Marketing, Brands Teams and Manufacturing plant.

The Supply Chain Manager must have leadership skills, excellent communication capabilities, and a focus on continuous improvement and sustainability, also, managing the necessary resources to ensure compliance with performance objectives, customer needs and respecting safety and quality standards for the Site.

This position will play an integral role in inspiring a high-performance culture as well as enabling the Companys vision, mission, and values across the company.

**Essential Tasks, Duties, & Responsibilities**

**General**
- Strategic Planning: Develop long-term strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs in the supply chain.
- Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners, ensuring quality and punctuality in product delivery.
- Data Analysis: Use analytical tools to evaluate supply chain performance and make informed decisions based on data.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and production, to ensure that the supply chain is aligned with business objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks that may affect the supply chain, such as supply disruptions or changes in market demand.
- Manage resources to ensure compliance with production plans focused on achieving the level of service requested by the client.
- Manage resources to ensure the supply of materials according to established objectives.
- Manage resources to ensure compliance with new product releases according to customer requirements.
- Consolidate department indicators and coordinate analysis in case of deviations, implement action plans.
- Develop technical skills and leadership competencies within the team.

**New products releases**

Ensure the timely execution of all new plant products, with the aim of meeting customer requirements while respecting safety, environmental, quality and productivity standards.
- Work with all brand teams to ensure the overall strategy is being optimized and executed accurately
- Create a complete plan for new products and share the information with the rest of the plant work teams
- Coordinate work teams to ensure the timely execution of new products in the plant.
- Coordinate action plans and analyze causes in case of delay or non-compliance with key activities within the development of new products.

**Components and Raw Materials Procurement**

Ensure the coordination and strategy of the supply team for the components and raw materials required by the plant, with the aim of complying with the production plan and ensuring the level of service, respecting: the inventory levels established in the budget, the safety, environmental, quality and productivity standards.
- Ensure the components and raw materials supply strategy to meet the monthly and annual objectives.
- Coordinate the activities of the components and raw materials procurement team to ensure the supply and achievement of department and factory objectives.
- Working on supply strategies for new products.
- Ensure good relationships with suppliers and coordinate supply strategies with them.
- Development of new suppliers in collaboration with purchasing.

**Production planning**

Prepare the plant production plan (monthly), with the aim of meeting the client's needs, respecting the factory's limitations and safety, environmental, quality and productivity standards.
- Carry out the plant production plan on a monthly basis with a scope of 12 months, in a timely manner, based on the criteria established with the client.
- Ensure that the budget production plan and three-year plan are carried out once a year.
- Ensure daily, weekly and monthly monitoring of compliance with the production plan, as well as adjustments to achieve it.
- Determine production plan priorities including new products releases, based on criteria established by the client.

**ERP system Master Data**

Coordinate that the ERP system data is complete and consistent with each other, with the objective of having reliable information and correct system management, respecting safety, environmental, quality and productivity standards.
- Ensure that the ERP system data is complete and consistent according to the quality specified by each department in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with the plant areas the correct input of data into the ERP system.
- Analyze non-compliance with the quality of ERP system data and ensure the implementation of actions to correct it.
