**Responsibilities**:

- Process payables, research purchase discrepancies, reconcile vendor statements, check /payment runs.
- Maintain and update accounting records and files.
- Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closures.
- Prepare documents for audits.
- Report to the Controller and work to improve financial processes.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills**:

- 5 plus years accounting experience, preferred in a manufacturing environment.
- Associate Degree in Accounting
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office Suite, proficient with spreadsheets
- Ability to work remotely, with occasional travel to headquarters.
- Concur Expense Management experience preferred.
- Good math skills
- Strong communication skills
- High level of organization and multi-tasking skills
- Positive attitude and open-minded approach to new tasks

**Education**:

- Degree/Certificate in Accounting.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience preferred.

- Proficiency in Visual/MRP Systems
- Familiarity with Taps and Cutting Tools
- Familiarity with Cost Accounting
